History
In Italy, the Diocese of Rieti (Latin: Dioecesis Reatina (-S. Salvatoris Maioris)) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory answering directly to the Holy See, being immediately exempt. The bishop's cathedra is placed in St. Mary Cathedral in the episcopal see of Rieti.
